Looking for a manual and wiring diagram for the Snyder General pgha060g100im roof furnace

I'm looking for a manual and wiring diagram for the Snyder General pgha060g100im roof furnace. Does anyone have it? How to troubleshoot it? It doesn't ignite. I'll highly appreciate any help. - On 2020-12-05 by Natalie -

Reply by (mod) - where to find Snyder General manuals

Natalie

Above on this page at SNYDER GENERAL MANUALS

I've added links to those McQuay and Snyder General rooftop units we could obtain as free PDF downloads. In the Snyder General PG-series you'll find manuals suitable for your Snyder General pgha060g100im roof furnace that may be helpful.

I'll continue to look for and post additional versions of your manual, and if you locate one elsewhere do let me know by posting here.

Snyder General control board replacement needed

Reply by (mod) - Snyder General control board replacement

Rich

You'll need the brand and model number before reading about replacing the control board for your Snyder General equipment.

Simply take a look at the data tag on the unit.

Then you can find the manual above on this page or at one of the links that we give for company contact.

Wiring diagram needed for Snyder General Model RC90A7 water source heat pump

I need a wiring diagram for a snyder general model RC90A7 water source heat pump. We have over 100 still in operation at our hotel. Have been unsuccessful in finding this diagram - On 2019-08-26 by Carl Seiler Charleston Place hotel -

Reply by (mod) - snyder general model RC90A7 water source heat pump

I'll see if i can find it.

Have you looked inside all of the units? Usually a wiring diagram is found there too.

Photos of the units would be helpful, including the data tag.

What is the AFUE of a 1991 Snyder General?

What is the AFUE of a 1991 Snyder General? - On 2018-05-27 by Andrew Boydston -

Reply by (mod) -

at the very least we would need the fuel type and the model number.

Older Snyder General units may run at 65% AFUE for units made up to say, around 1990.

You'll find that the Snyder General AFUE ratings such as for a GUF - series unit will be at least 60-70%, often warming up to 80%, so when you make the measurement is important too.

For comparison, new high-efficiency heater units can have an AFUE rating between 90% and 98.5% !

Question: Snyder General Chiller: E2214122LA details?

I need more details about this Snyder General Chiller: E2214122LA - Manny, 2024/01

Reply:

Since 1994, Snyder General has been AAF-McQuay. So your chiller must be an older unit if it's branded as Snyder General. I spent the morning looking for an IO manual or parts list for a Snyder General Chiller: E22-Series unit - without success, finding either the generic manuals websites or a page that promises the manual for the E22 chiller but turns out to be spam or a dead page.

Best bet, sorry to say, is to contact AAF-McQuay - OR - if you have a specific question or need we might be able to make a suggestion; often there are, for example, generic parts that can replace OEM parts on your chiller, and usually, inside the equipment you'll find a wiring diagram. Let me know if you find that (post a photo if you can ).

Also post a photo of the unit's data tag as that may help research.

Question: how much does the PGDA048H125IN1 weigh?

I wondered if if you guys can help me I have
PGDA048H125IN1
I need to know the weight - Javier Estrada, 2024/01

Reply:

We have this Tempstar PGDA manual/spec [PDF] that is perhaps the same or quite similar.

that gives weights - around 1000 lbs. for a rooftop unit but take care: the IO manuals give a LOT of very different weights depending on just which components are being discussed, so any single number might be misleading.

Question: what are the dimensions of a 1987 vintage, McQuay M# ER132 RTU.

I'm looking for dimensional data for a 1987 vintage, McQuay M# ER132 RTU.

I'm trying to get a custom curb adapter made up, and I need the original dimensions. Any help is appreciated - Pete, 2024/01

Reply:

Please post a sharp photo of the unit's data tag so that we have all of the information we can get, and I'll see what schematic or dimensions or manuals we have or can find.

Also see the ER model manuals given above on this page. The installation manuals will generally give the unit's dimensions.

Question: can I add a smart hub controller to an older McQuay heat pump?

Hello, I have an older McQuay heat pump that I am trying to determine whether or not we can integrate to. There does not appear to be any kind of communications card in the unit, but it is currently difficult to access to determine for sure.

The model number does not translate directly with the ones posted on this page (looking at M#: CCW036AMTS, S#: 7 WE25450 08). Is this unit BACnet capable?

Thanks. I attempted to attach a photo of the name plate but it didn't want to take it (photo was less than 5MB and saved as a .jpeg) - Cory 2023

Reply:

I doubt that an older McQuay heat pump not designed for smart hub or device communication is going to work directly, though there might be an add-on intermediate controller that would allow that.

Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and Daikin Applied all sell controllers for McQuay heat pumps - it might be worth asking your local distributor or contacting those companies directly.

I'm sorry you had trouble posting the photo - if that happens again, you are welcome to use the page top or bottom CONTACT link to find our email and email it and we'll post it for you.

EG: The Metasys from Johnson Controls product literature says

The Metasys Integrator unit allows McQuay equipment to become an integral part of the Metasys and Metasys Companion Networks. Once McQuay controllers are connected to Metasys or Companion systems via the Metasys Integrator, McQuay controllers data is available to the full complement of Metasys Building Automation System (BAS) features including Change-of-State (COS) monitoring, alarm notification, scheduling, trend, and totalization.

McQuay Open Protocol Master (OPM) is the interface between McQuay controllers and non-McQuay devices such as the Metasys Integrator unit. The OPM allows status information and commands to be transmitted between the controllers and the Metasys or Companion Network. Each Metasys Integrator unit vendor port can connect to one OPM. Each OPM can connect to up to 64 McQuay controllers.

The Metasys Integrator unit supports the McQuay applications listed in Table 1.

You can connect a single piece of McQuay equipment directly to a Metasys Integrator unit vendor port without an OPM. Therefore, a 2-port Metasys Integrator unit panel can control two chillers or rooftop units without an OPM. See the Cable Connections section of this document for additional information. See your McQuay representative for further setup and connection information.

Question: looking for a database of old Snyder General HVAC Units

I'm just wondering if your company can assist me with this matter. Does your company have a database which can look up the model number on it older units?

If so, can you tell me the specs of a Snyder General (McQuay) air handler unit (model number LHD114DV); namely the maximum cubic feet of air per minute it can circulate? - Ralph Aikens - 2023

Reply:

Not a data base, Ralph, but we provide de-coding guides for HVAC model numbers and serial numbers and PDF downloads (free) of manuals and product specification sheets. To find the specifications for a model we'd either find the manual or spec sheet for the specific unit or go to the company directly.

Post a photo of your unit's data tag and that can help us research the question, especially if we don't already have a PDF download of the product manual or specification sheet for that mode.

Take a look at this specifications for

and more model number decoding (that gives features and thus specifications) is also in this
