Model septic system design specifications & regulations:
This article series uses the New York State wastewater treatment standard for individual household septic systems (Appendix 75-A) to provide an example of state regulated design and installation of both conventional tank and leach field septic systems and alternative septic system designs, including raised septic systems, septic mound systems, intermittent sand filter septic systems, and evaportion-transpiration septic systems.
Here we provide an outline of the entire septic system design specifications & regulations and link to individual detailed topics.

Ken
The authoritative answer to your code question always lies with the local building code compliance officer as her word is the final legal authority.
However in most jurisdictions, new work is done to current code;
"repair" of a leach field, such as fixing a broken pipe, ought not be a code issue.
but "repair" of a failed leachfield really means installing a new one - which will need to meet current codes.

On Long Island NY we follow the International Building Code which specifies venting details for each fixture (shower sink toilet etc). I recall all fixtures must be vented. these can vent individually or be combined into one roof or side wall penetration (attic)
On 2018-02-11 by (mod) - Is there a code for VENTING the plumbing in homes
Dee
Depending on where you live local plumbing regulations or building codes perhaps modeled after the uniform Mechanical Code specify quite clearly the requirements for proper venting of the building drain system. If your building has no venting installed it is potentially unsafe as well as prone to clogs and blockages.

Is there a code for VENTING the plumbing in homes so NO SEPTIC GASES seep or vent into the home.
The home I'm in does NOT have any venting to outside for the plumbing, & the owner put the old school vent cap in the basement, after we smelled sewer gases in the home LAST winter not as strong. But everytime something drains we smelled the gases.
Now it's winter time & the sepric gases are CONSTANT h strong whereas everyone in our home no matter how much I air the house out we all have constant uppwr respiratory infections, & our children NEVER needed any antibiotics ever the youngest of 4 now 14 never ill & now we are always congested with sinus problems.
My Husband wirh 2 Leukemia's developed double pneumonia landed in the Hospital & in septh testing revealed bacteria from such type of gases ruling out everything else that could cause it.
There's a discrepancy because the older generation DOESN'T believe there's any laws or codes that require SPECIFIC VENTING of pumbing to outside & the basement ONLY venting is NO LONGER legal as a result of such health issues as this.
Csn someone PLEASE guide me to ANY written laes about VENTING plumbing for septic gas in homes?
