On 2020-09-11 by (mod) - where can I buy more 1950s Armstrong Apache Red & White Floor Tiles

Julie I seriously doubt that you will find anyone able much less willing to sell 1950s through early 1980s asbestos containing floor tiles.

I have lifted the carpet in my 1950s house and found these Armstrong tiles. They are lovely and, provided I do not tamper with them, they are safe if sealed. I need about 3 metres more to complete the floor. The red one, I think is Apache red 777 and the beige I am unsure. Where can I get the additional tiles please?

Indeed depending on the manufacturer asbestos-containing floor tile was made in 6 by 6, 9 by 9, 12 x 12, and also custom sizes.

Hi I recently purchased a home that was built in 1950. I'm concerned about the tile on in the hall way and in the kitchen. However, by chance I measured the til in the hall way and it was 6 x 6. Do you have any information on 6 x 6 tile. I didn't measure the tile in the kitchen, but I believe it is the same size. I've attached pictures. Hopefully you can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!
