Hello! We are not sure if our water softener is working or not? Desperately need to find a manual for the Eliminator Pro-Series 48 Water Softener. Does anyone have a copy to share or any advice? Thank you, Laurie

Thanks. The salt tank is full and appears fine. I will try the manual regeneration cycle and see if that makes a difference.

First check the salt tank, then try a manual regen cycle; Also have the water tested for hardness as that level could have changed and thus would require a softener adjustment

I have an Autotrol 460i water softener controller. The original settings were for a family of 4 and were
Hardness=11; Capacity=24 and Brine=8 and the water was at an acceptable soft level.
The family has decreased to 2 recently and we have noticed that the water is no longer soft. Is this a setting issue or some other maintenance related issue like resin becoming old or the valve has something wrong? Thanks.

I have a Autotrol Performa Prosoft. I'm told it should regenerate at "0" capacity. I noticed it was regenerating at 50, then 80. Now it regenerates at around 150 gallons. I have had the Culligan man here twice for this issue. The first time, I guess he thought I didn't know what I was talking about.
When he had to come back for free, he asked me again what it was doing. After I explained, he said he had no clue and would have to ask around. I am being ignored now. The first time he was here, he said my water had more iron so he increased the hardness. My unit is now regenerating every other day when it was going about once a week before.
So I get a little over 400 gallons at regeneration but at 150, it dumps and goes again! My unit is 12 years old.
