Where does the filter go on our Empire furnace?

I'm trying to figure out where the filter goes on our Empire gas furnace.

Dust is blowing everywhere so I know it needs a filter somewhere but not sure where. On 2021-01-14 by Char

Take a look at the steps to find the air filter as we describe at AIR FILTER LOCATION and let me know if that works.

Watch out: if your Empire heating furnace has been run without an air filter in place for some time, dust may have clogged the blower fan itself, drastically reducing the air flow, increasing heating cost, and potentially leading to furnace overheating and operating trouble.

Ask your service tech to check the cleanliness at least in the blower compartment.
