APCO Aiton's Equipment Co. Isn't a brand with which I'm familiar although at least we know that it's a Canadian company with a couple of addresses, one of which may be current.

It would appear that the current version of Aiton's dates from 2000, perhaps from a reorganization. You might give them a call.

I can't quite make out the serial number for this APCO Aiton's AC unit, but it looks like

APCO Serial: 28207 1917??

Often the age, as date of manufacture, is encoded in the serial number
