Williams Gas Furnace, Williams Oil-O-Matic & Williamson Thermoflo Heater Age & Manuals
Three heating equipment producers with similar names are so often confused with one another that we include all three here. We provide omanuals, contact information, and some history of these companies.
Williams Furnace Company, established in the U.S. in 1916, produces air curtains, air handlers, dehumidifiers, direct vent LP gas and natural gas furnaces, fan coil units, and other heating equipment.
Heating equipment models produced by Williams include high efficiency direct vent furnaces, a Monterey Plus and Monterey home furnaces that are vertical wall-mounted units, other direct vent furnaces, Forsaire Counterflow furnaces, garage furnaces, vented-room console heaters, floor furnaces, "Vent free" heaters, and other models.
The company provides also conversion kits to convert the model series given below from natural gas to LP gas and from LP gas to natural gas. All Williams Furnace models produced after 2002 except for their Compact Heating System and Vent-Free models may be converted.
Watch out: converting a gas appliance must be done by a qualified, trained person as there are risks of fire and explosion.

Williamson was purchased by Hupp Industries that in turn went bankrupt in 1991. Metzger Machine, owner of the Milwaukee Thermoflo brand, purchased the Williamson name and used it on furnaces through 1999 when the brand and product line were purchased by United Dominion. United Dominion also owns Weil-McLain.
The current Williamson-Thermoflo company can be contacted as Williamson, Thermoflo, or Williamson-Thermo9flo at the address we give below.
Current Williamson products include boilers, furances, and water heaters, both oil and gas fired equipment
The Williamson name was purchased by Metzger Machine (Milwaukee Thermoflo) and continued in use on furnaces until 1999 when the name was purchased by United Dominion (Weil-McLain's parent)

WILLIAMSON WMWLB / WMWFM / WTWLB / WTWFM Series
Hydronic Heating Unit I&O MANUAL [PDF] (2008)
The units are designed for permanent up flow, counter flow, or horizontal left or right airflow installation. Optional DX
coils are available that provide for add on DX air conditioning and heat pump applications to meet the specific
requirements of the outdoor equipment.
if you don't have the operating instructions for your oil burner look at the burner itself for its label, model, serial number, as chances are it's another brand than Williamson - like Beckett or Carlin. With that info you can find the PDF (or ask for help) decoding the error codes/signals, as they're rather equipment brand/model specific.
WATCH OUT: be sure the beep is coming from the heater and NOT from a carbon monoxide or smoke detector - if it's the latter the building is unsafe as there's a CO hazard or a fire hazard.
