But I see why you ask: on p. 14 the manual says

Extra Regeneration -If soft water demands are unusually heavy, an extra regeneration can be initiated manually:

and then offers not a shred of information on how to do so other than re-programming the regeneration timer.

How to Start a Manual Regeneration Cycle on a CIS Softener Series 1 or CIS Series-2 Water Softener

Press and hold the SET-CHANGE button (the lower button on your CSI softener control head) until you see the digitial display change to a simple "0000" - telling you that you've set the number of gallons until next regen to zero - meaning - regen is needed.

[You'll need to hold the set-change button for about 3 seconds or a bit longer. ]

If you stop here, (lift your finger off of the control button) in a moment the display will change to a time (hh:mm) showing when the next regeneration is scheduled, and the softener will run a regen cycle according to that time settingsalready in the control.

If you want the regen cycle to start immediately then press and hold the SET-CHANGE button a second time, holding it until the display changes to a "1" - telling you the softener is beginning STEP 1 of a REGEN cycle.

Stop there and let the softener run through its cycles.

Stopping there the softener should start the regeneration whole process.

If that does not work on your CSI softener then I'm sorry but we're left with saying it's better to give the company a call than to make up a guess and steer you wrong. Contact CSI water treatment systems at the contact information we give above on this page.

First, to be clear, your water softener is not one of "our" water treatment systems. We do not sell anything. No products, no services.  InspectAPedia.com provides building and environmental diagnostic and repair information.

We have not found a water softer brand CIS.

However this web page is indeed our production and on it you will find both contact information for the CSI water softener company and free PDF downloads of CSI water softener manuals.

1. We have not found a CIS water softener model named AT32V but it's likely that one of the CSI [Note the different order of letters in this name] water treatment equipment systems above on this page (or another in our library will work for you.)

2. If you meant to type CSI and mis-typed as CIS, have you tried contacting the company - we give CIS contact information above on this page.

3. Can you post a photo of the control head for your AT32V water softener (one photo per comment) and another photo of any data tags, including patent numbers, that you may see on the control head or under the control head cover?

Since many water softener brands actually use a control head from one of the major manufacturers, often that data will allow us to point you to another manual that has details for your softener model.

@Bob,

Start by putting the water softener in bypass mode.

If that corrects the low water pressure problem we've narrowed the problem to the softener.

Then try a manual regeneration cycle.

Let me know what you find and we'll continue from there.

Note that pretty much all of the CSI water treatment systems are rated to work at water pressures between 20 psi and 125 psi.
