Thane
I would treat the floor as presumed to contain asbestos, based on your notes on home age and floor appearance.

I pose 5 simple questions that you can try to answer to make a reasonable guess at whether or not the floor in your photo contains asbestos.

Hello, we want to redo bath & kitchen in 1963 ranch house. When we moved in, there was carpet covering all floors except the kitchen. We pulled the carpet in the dining room & discovered the original pebble-style sheet linoleum underneath (fortunately oak graces the bulk of the living areas).
In the image, the geometric pattern is the kitchen’s top layer & the pebble style is what I’m guessing is the base of it all, as it looks to run from the dining room under the darker linoleum in the kitchen. It is also the same base linoleum in the bathroom.
I can’t tell if the darker linoleum in the kitchen is tile or sheet without pulling up the top layer.
The same is true in the bath: pebble style underneath a newer layer, except there is no wood layer between.
The closest I could find in your list to the lowest layer is Styletone 838 Glaciertone.
Thanks for the amazing list. Quite an eye-opener to all the terrible things I’ve handled over the years!
Be well,
Thane

Sorry Beth but I can't say. That sort of pattern was sold over many years.

Hello, I wondered if you could tell from this picture if it has asbestos. It is sheet vinyl with a thick paper layer underneath.
The house is very old. Thanks! Beth

Not for sure without a lab test. However if you think the floor was installed before the mid-1980s you would treated as presumed to contain asbestos.
Peel and stick floor tiles that used asbestos were indeed marketed in the U.S. and other countries by the mid 1970s.

We recently bought a house built in 1968. The basement floor has 12" x 12" tiles that appear to be peel and stick. We are wondering if anyone knows if these tiles have asbestos?

Lisa
Torginol produces flooring products - you might want to show the company this floor and ask its age and asbestos content.

If you don't find the flooring in our online guide to sheet flooring, and if you cannot get an answer directly from the manufacturer, you'd have to have a sample tested by a certified asbestos test lab.
In that case see ASBESTOS TESTING LAB LIST

On 2018-03-05 by (mod) - Asbestos likely in 1963 vinyl floor tiles
Chris it's likely that the floor tiles contained asbestos, but even breaking up the flooring, the dust and debris created is much less than using power tools like a saw, sander, or grinder.
At this point you might want to test some settled dust using a certified asbestos test lab. If the lab finds significant levels of asbestos in the dust then you will want to have more thorough and expert cleaning, typically damp wiping and HEPA vacuuming.
Next time don't blow fans - stirring up dust - unless they are in a window and blowing OUT. I'd prefer still air. A little dust blown outside is likely to be below the limits of detection.

My girlfriend and I removed tile from a 100sqft room in her house last week which had water damage on top and underneath. The house was built in 1963.
The task took about 2 hours using a crowbar like tool to pry most of them up. Most of them broke until 2-3 pieces but several broke into many whole pieces while others would not budge so we more or less chiseled under them on the floor to remove.
After doing research after the task im now very afraid these contained asbestos which we inhaled. We had a window open the whole time and the door to the living room open at times while doing this.
My girlfriend and others try to reassure me that we are fine and I'd have to be exposed to large quantities to get any diseases later in life. (I'm only 30). She also says the same tile was taken up from the living room when she had it redone when she moved in 3 years ago and the contractor said nothing about asbestos.
My anxiety has been driving me crazy over possibly inhaling the stuff and getting something like mesothelioma later in life. Can you identify? How much asbestos is actually in these tiles if any? What are the chances of getting these illness after the type of exposure I had?
For most of the work I wore a P95 respirator, but the last hour I was working hard a count breathe as easy and used a common dusk mask only half on. I was sitting on the floor for most of the work. Also what about contaminants who may have made their way outside to the living room?
Are they harmful? Lastly she closed the room and used two fans to blow toward the window (about 4 feet off the floor) to dry the room.

Hi. My text re faux parquetry tiles seemed to disappear when the picture uploaded. I'll try again.
The tiles are approx 1963 vintage, measure 300 mm X 300 mm X 1.6 mm,
Re faux parquetry floor tiles - shown in my photo.
These tiles have no backs and where lifting due to water damage the floor tiles crack cleanly without dust of crumble.
Can you advise, please? Cheers, Tim
