Flushometer valves guide:
What is a flushometer valve, where and how are they used on toilets (water closets) and urinals, how is the flushometer valve installed, what kind of water pressure and flow does a flushometer valve need to work properly, and what diameter water supply piping is required.
What goes wrong with flushometer valves and their installations: troubleshooting inadequate flush water, too much flush water, noisy or leaky flushometer valves. We also introduce and recommend use of waterless urinals.

Rody,
A flushometer valve or popularly Sloane valve, named for its inventor uses building water pressure alone to flush waste from a toilet or urinal. There is no cister or tank holding a reservoir of flush-water.
Details about flushometers and how they work as well as a bit of history are at the article I cite just above.

I need to know if there is a maintenance program for the flush meter or this is run to fail or this have life cycle.

Perhaps if the particular model valve is one whose adjustment range allows you to set the required volume of flush water.

Can you install a urinal flush valve on a toilet

Flush valves in a facility with concealed flushometers have to be replaced repeatedly due to possible corrosion related breakdown (The maintenance contractor uses the word "corroded," but I have not seen the damaged valves for myself yet). Could this be related to insufficient flowrate or pressure?
If so, then considering an additional pump to adjust flow. Possible excess sediment or suspended solids involved. If so, considering a filtration system to protect the valves.

Not enough water to flush down the bowl
On 2017-01-04 by (mod) -
Check the amount of water the tank fill valve is sending into the bowl after a flush and during tank refill - it may be too little, or the fill tube may not be sending in any water at all.

toilet only flushes if you flush twice.

Apologies AP but I'm unclear what's meant by blew off the Answer, and unclear which original post is under discussion.
A squeaky whistle at a flushometer I suspect is being caused by a specific water velocity combined with the condition of parts inside the valve through which water is moving. Try this experiment: can you adjust up or down say 5 psi the water pressure?
If you can't do that, are there multiple flushometers and only one that's noisy? That'd be diagnostic.

I have the same problem as the Original post you listed... but blew off the Answer. My Valve squeaks/whistles at the end of the Flush
On 2016-07-10 by (mod) -
Perhaps sort-of, John. If the valve doesn't send enough water into the toilet bowl the bowl won't empty.

On 2016-01-25 by david
I have a sloan flush on a toilet the problem is after the first flush it takes a while for the toilet to flush properly again the drain is clear. it is a new valve. have snaked out toilet.

Richard:
I agree a cold-dip is not what's wanted and is not hygienic.
You can reduce the water level in the toilet bowl as long as the toilet continues to flush adequately. Too little bowl water can give a weak flush.
Try clamping or pinching the toilet bowl fill tube that extends from the toilet tank fill valve over to the toilet tank overflow tube - that's how the fill valve re-fills the bowl while the toilet flush tank is also re-filling.
As long as the toilet is flushing normally the bowl will be nearly empty at the end of a flush cycle; as the tank refills the bowl is filled by that tube. Pinch it to reduce the flow rate and you'll reduce the bowl fill.
Send me photos or at least let me know how that works for you.

My problem is that the water level in my Sloan Royal is too high in the bowl. Everything is fine with the flush & valve action, but (and I am not joking) when seated, my scrotum dangles down to the surface. Most unpleasant, and unhygenic. I am not "exceptional" in this department and this has not been a problem on other toilets. Would reducing the valve adjustment somewhat lower the level a bit while still preserving a good flushing action?

why would a bathroom that has a flushometer toilet flood wnen not in use

sloan valve how to increase water flow
There is a lock-nut and screw that can be turned to adjust the flushometer valve flush rate and duration; some flushometer valves also can be adjusted by replacing an inner core assembly.

What is the height of a flush valve
Depends on manufacturer installation specs but is not fussy.

whats difference between urinal & closet sloan royal flush valve
The valves use different flush volume and flow rates.

I want to change out a conventional flush toilet in my home and replace it with a flushometer valve operated toilet. What's involved in converting a flush toilet to a flushometer toilet?
Gary, for satisfactory changeout of a gravity flush toilet to a Sloan type flush valve operating toilet you'd want to install a toilet base designed for that operation, you'd need adequate pressure and flow rate delivery of water to the toilet (not available in most residential installations without larger diameter piping and pressure boosting), and of course the proper flush valve.
All of that most likely makes the changeout too costly for most residences especially those with low water pressure and flow or served by a private well system.
Alternatively, mhowever, are other designs of airmormwater pressure power-assistd flush operated tank or cistern type toilets.
