Promises

    Unspoken thoughts,
    even between us,
    perhaps
    because
    unneeded.

    Unbroken promises,
    cannot deceive us,
    un made,
    un said,
    un-heeded.

    All lost,
    we lovers
    cry sad and deep,
    at moments
    quite alone,

    for dreams we've dreamt,
    while soft asleep,
    of love,
    unjoined,
    unknown.
